Event Description:

SDEA’s 2020 Mid-Year Employment Law Update takes place on Thursday, July 23rd and will be led by employment law attorney Chris Olmsted with Ogletree Deakins.
The webinar will cover the latest updates related to COVID, return to work and where liability lies related to the pandemic.
Chris will address pending legislation and recent court cases setting trends for the workforce as well as other important updates that will impact employers now and into 2021.

In our usual format, we will have plenty of time to answer your questions!

Additionally, we will have a special guest, Lee Wills Irvine, Head of Talent Acquisition and Culture, Sony North America

Lee will participate in a question and answer period with Jennifer Jacobus on Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.  While Lee has been responsible for the diversity programs at Intel and Qualcomm, she understands the importance of inclusion in all companies, regardless of size.  Lee’s colleagues have said that she is “compassionate, engaged and well recognized as an accomplished leader within the human resources industry.”  With the importance of recognizing diversity and inclusion in the workplace stronger than ever, we are excited to include Lee in our mid-year update.
