Event Description:
This course is designed to assist professionals that are just beginning their HR journey and want to prepare for the HRCI exam to achieve the designation of aPHR. To be eligible for the aPHR exam, you must have a high school diploma or global equivalent. No HR experience is required since this is a knowledge-based credential.
Participants will learn and study about key Body of Knowledge areas in order to prepare for sitting for the exam. Topics include: HR Operations; Employee Relations; Recruitment and Selection, Compensation and Benefits; Human Resource Development and Retention; and Health, Safety and Security.
This course is a 9-week course designed to assist participants in their preparation for the exam. This is a new designation under the HRCI certifications and is an excellent opportunity to prepare individuals on their career paths and journey into the field of Human Resources.
This course is facilitated and taught by Michelle Peard, SPHR, PHRca, SHRM-SCP
