This workshop is designed to provide a brief overview of the Unemployment Insurance system and focus on dealing with the practical issues of managing unemployment insurance claims. This course will review the common forms employers must respond to and provide practical application for taking action.In addition to interactive exercises, the participants will learn:

- How to use an UI flowchart to put together a strategy for responses
- How to prepare a witness for a UI hearing
- Strategies for keeping UI costs down
- Review case studies for practical application and understanding of outcomes
