This course is for the critical final steps of the selection and hiring process. You need to make a hire. Advertising, sourcing and screening are complete, and now you have to determine how to make the best match for your organization from those who seemed the best through your screening process. In this brief class, we’ll discuss tailoring targeted questions to the needs of the role and the company, methods of assessing culture and “fit,” and some subtle tools that may—or may not—indicate a good match, conditional offers and why “sequencing” is critical to the post-offer process.
