Performance appraisals are a key part of an organization’s performance management system. When done well, it can help organizations to recognize and reinforce good performance; align staff roles, responsibilities, and objectives with organizational or program objectives; identify training and professional development needs; and identify and formally address problems or issues.
This program is specifically for the supervisory and new manager level employee and will provide attendees with the basic skills required to effectively evaluate and manage performance appraisals as an ongoing management process. This course will take attendees through the process from meeting preparation and giving feedback to SMART goals and follow up.
