What's worse than a difficult conversation? Avoiding one!
What difficult conversations are you avoiding at work today? Maybe it's the "hygiene conversation" you don't want to have with the long term employee down the hall. Do you really need to discuss flatulence or chronically bad breath with another adult, let alone a coworker?
What about the employee that shows up for work Monday morning in a suggestive/inappropriate outfit? Don't forget the "locker room banter" going on between your sales people- did one of them just mention harassment?
If you haven't had to deal with this in your supervisory, management, or human resources role, count your lucky stars.
What are you to do? Where do you start? These types of issues need to be dealt with just as you would any performance or behavior-related issue.
This seminar will address these topics and more to provide tips on how to address them while keeping the comfort level at bay for both parties. Participants also leave with tools and a training activity to facilitate upon returning to their workplaces.
