Investigations and audits from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are on the rise and the numbers are expected to grow substantially over the next year. With significant increases in fines for I-9 violations (both paperwork and the hiring of undocumented workers), all employers, regardless of size or industry, need to be more diligent regarding their I-9 compliance practices.
